LED illumination provides a bright, pure white light that does not generate excess heat, protecting live specimens from thermal damage. LEDs also last up to 50,000 hours, eliminating the need for frequent bulb replacements.

It means the coarse and fine focus knobs are mounted on the same axis (one inside the other). This allows for quick, intuitive focus adjustments without having to move your hands to different parts of the microscope.

You simply remove the dust cap on the third vertical port, attach a standard C-Mount adapter, and thread on your digital USB or HDMI microscope camera. It is a plug-and-play process.
